Most of the OB/GYNs confuse laboring mother's unresponsiveness with the fatigue but the truth is She CAN respond but she DOES NOT want to respond. She isn't even interested in listening to what any one is saying forget about responding.She wants to be left undisturbed in her laboring land and conserve her every bit of energy for her and her baby.People surronding her should supress their urge to do something, the only thing to do is - 'Do Nothing'.She will reach out to you whenever she needs you,just be there like a life guard.
